Online services for communities
Please note that our online services can only be accessed using desktop computers and laptops but not mobile devices.
Communities can apply for operational and special subsidies through the online services.
Please note that the online services are available in Finnish and Swedish only.
Taike's online services work best with the following browser versions:
- Internet Explorer (IE), version 11
- Mozilla Firefox (FF), version 52 or later
- Mac Safari, version 10 or later
- Google Chrome, version 70 or later
- Edge Chromium
Connection timeout (30 min.)
The connection will time out automatically after 30 minutes if the service is not used. Remember to save your work regularly. All information that you have saved will be retained despite the connection timeout.
Applications that have been saved but not sent can be found by clicking on “Omat hakemukset” (My applications) and then on “Keskeneräiset” (Drafts).
Consent to online services
Before submitting your application, the system will ask you to check the section “Annan suostumukseni hakemusta koskevien päätösten sähköiseen tiedoksiantoon” (I give my consent to the electronic notification of decisions concerning my application). Consent means that the decision on the application you have submitted will be sent to you via our online services. All other documents related to your application (such as change requests, clarifications) must also be submitted to Taike via our online services. You will be informed by e-mail when a decision has been sent to you.
To access our online services, your community must have a valid Business ID. When logging in, the representative of the community must select “Yhteisön puolesta asiointi” (Act on behalf of a community) and then authenticate using Suomi.fi e-identification. To log in you will need eBanking identifiers, a mobile certificate or an electronic ID card. When logging in, select the community you are representing.

Granting a mandate
To log in to Taike’s online services on behalf of a community, the representative will need a mandate that can be granted and managed using the Suomi.fi e-Authorization service. Before authorising a person to act on behalf of the community, refer to the guidelines under Information on e-Authorizations. Keep in mind that the person granting the mandate is responsible for ensuring that e-Authorizations are up to date.
Suomi.fi e-Authorizations can be granted by:
- Private traders (self-employed persons)
- Farmers (agricultural and forestry entrepreneurs)
- Managing director or sole authorised signatory of a limited liability company, housing company, co-operative, general partnership or limited partnership.
- Sole authorised signatory of an association whose authorisation is registered in the Finnish Register of Associations
Communities that do not have access to or are ineligible for Suomi.fi e-Authorizations can request authorisation with an application.
Types of mandates
There are three types of mandates by which an authorised person can represent a community on Taike’s online services:
“Valtionavustusten hakemisen valmistelu” (Preparing applications for state subsidies): This type of mandate entitles the authorised person or their delegate to prepare applications for state subsidies.
“Valtionavustusten hakeminen” (Applying for state subsidies): This type of mandate entitles the authorised person or their delegate to prepare applications for state subsidies and take other actions related to subsidies, submit applications for processing and cancel applications.
“Valtionavustusten hakeminen ja tietojen hallinnointi” (Applying for state subsidies and managing information): This type of mandate entitles the authorised person or their delegate to prepare applications for state subsidies and take other actions related to subsidies, submit applications for processing and manage information related to the authorising party.
Updating your community details is only possible with the mandate “Valtionavustusten hakeminen ja tietojen hallinnointi” (Applying for state subsidies and managing information). Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Applications cannot be sent before all required fields are filled in and saved.
Reviewing your community details
Reviewing and saving your community details is only possible with the mandate “Valtionavustusten hakeminen ja tietojen hallinnointi” (Applying for state subsidies and managing details).
If the community is a new customer, the authorised person with the mandate “Valtionavustusten hakeminen ja tietojen hallinnointi” (Applying for state subsidies and managing details) will first see the page for “Yhteisön tiedot” (Community details), where the information can be reviewed and saved. This information will be stored in the customer register of the SALAMA case management system. After logging in for the first time and saving the community details, the “Avoimet haut” (Open calls for applications) page will open.
You can store two addresses in the customer register, one for Finland and one for a foreign residence, if necessary. The country of residence setting determines which one is used.
Include your community’s preferred bank account number on the “Yhteisön tiedot” (Community details) page and it will be stored in Taike's customer register, so every time you fill in a new application it will be included automatically. Note, however, that changing your community’s bank details on an application will not automatically change your bank details on the “Yhteisön tiedot” (Community details) page.
If your community’s bank details change, remember to update the information on the “Yhteisön tiedot” (Community details) page. This will not affect applications that have already been sent or processed. If you would like to change your community’s bank details for applications that have been approved, please contact Taike directly: firstname.lastname@example.org
The system does not yet accept foreign bank details, so if you have access only to a foreign bank account, please contact Taike directly: email@example.com
Separate bank account for specific application
You can also include separate bank details on each application. In this case, the bank details you provide on the application shall be used only for payments related to that specific application and will not affect the bank details stored in Taike's customer register and used for other payments.
On the "Avoimet haut" (Open calls for applications) page you can see all current calls for applications under the headings “Alueelliset apurahat ja avustukset” (Regional grants and subsidies) and “Valtakunnalliset apurahat ja avustukset” (State grants and subsidies).
If you log in to Taike’s online services on behalf of a community, you will see only calls for applications that are intended for communities.
Filling in a new application
Begin a new application from the "Avoimet haut" (Open calls for applications) page. Choose the grant you want to apply for and select "Tee uusi hakemus" (New application). Then select the language in which you prefer to apply (Finnish or Swedish). The default language is the same as the one that you used to log in with.
On the first page of the application you will see your community details as stored in the customer register. If you would like to update your community information, go to the "Yhteisön tiedot" (Commuity details) page. You can then return to the application from the "Omat hakemukset" (My applications) page under "Keskeneräiset" (Drafts).
Remember to save each page before you proceed to the next page. When you send your application, it will be automatically saved on the "Omat hakemukset" (My applications) page under "Lähetetyt" (Sent).
The accepted file formats and maximum number of appendices are specified on the application form. The maximum size for each attachment is 4 MB. Do not use any protection, encryption or other security features on your appendices that could prevent your application from being processed.
Please note that the name of the attached file cannot include special characters (e.g. underscore or hyphen), spaces or any of the following: å, ä, ö.
On the "Omat hakemukset" (My applications) page you can view all your applications and their status.
Under "Keskeneräiset" (Drafts) you can see all the applications that you have been working on but not yet sent. You can continue working on these applications by clicking on "Muokkaa" (Edit). You can edit your application as often as you like within the application period until you click on "Lähetä" (Send).
Once the application period has ended, you can no longer send the application, but you can still view your drafts. The applications are listed in descending order with the one that you have worked on most recently at the top. You can change the order by clicking on the column headers.
Incomplete applications (drafts) cannot be viewed by Taike. You can remove your drafts at any time by clicking on "Poista" (Delete).
Under "Lähetetyt" (Sent) you can see all the applications that you have sent but that are still pending a decision. The applications are listed in descending order with the one that you have sent most recently on top. You can change the order by clicking on the column headers.
Sent applications shall be given a record number as soon as they are officially received and stored in Taike's system, at which time you will be informed by e-mail. A short delay can be expected due to congestion, especially towards the end of the application period. If your application is not given a record number within a few days (if you see only a temporary application number accompanied by the text “Odottaa diaarinumeroa”), please contact Taike directly: firstname.lastname@example.org
Sent applications and their attachments can be seen on the "Hakemuksen käsittelyvaiheet" (Status) page by clicking on the "Selaa" (Browse) link.
Under "Päätetyt" (Processed) you can see all the applications that you have sent and that have been processed. The applications are listed in descending order with the one that you have sent most recently on top. You can change the order by clicking on the column headers.
You will be informed by e-mail about all decisions. The decisions can be seen on the "Hakemuksen käsittelyvaiheet" (Status) page by clicking on the "Siirry asian tietoihin" (See details) link.
It is important that your applications are as complete as possible already during the application period.
You can amend your applications at any time during the supplementary period by clicking on "Täydennä" (Edit). This link is disabled at the end of the supplementary period.
The maximum number of attachments is five and the maximum size for each attachment is 4 MB. You will be informed by e-mail once the changes have been stored in the system.
You can cancel your application by clicking on the "Peruuta" (Cancel) link. You will be informed by e-mail once the cancellation has been saved in the system. Please note that cancelling an application takes effect immediately. If you would like to fill in a new application to replace the old one, we recommend that you send the new application first and only then cancel the old application.
You can also request a change to a positive decision by clicking on the "Muutospyyntö" (Request change) link and filling in the form. To do so, click on the type of change and describe the change you would like to make and the grounds for doing so. The terms and restrictions for subsidies are included with the decision and list the kinds of changes that are possible and when they should be made.
