Webinar in Finnish to inform about Taike subsidies for communities

Taike will host a webinar in Finnish covering this autumn’s subsidy applications on Wednesday 4 October from 11am to 12:30pm. The webinar will go through which subsidies communities can apply for and offer tips on how to apply.

The webinar will focus primarily on project grants that can be applied for this autumn, but information will also be provided about other grants that can be applied for next spring. The application period for project grants is 1–30 November 2023.

The webinar will discuss the following types of subsidies:

  • Subsidies for promoting cultural diversity and combating racism
  • Subsidies for promoting cultural wellbeing and inclusion
  • Special subsidies for specific artforms
  • Festival subsidies
  • Special subsidies for children’s culture
  • Operational subsidies for specific artforms

The application period for subsidies is 2–31 October 2023.

The event will be held online in the form of a webinar. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions using the chat function.

The event will be held in Finnish, but questions and comments can also be presented in Swedish and English. A separate webinar in English will be held on 6 October from 11am to 12:30pm.

Registration is not required. The event will be recorded and published on Taike’s YouTube channel two weeks after the event.
