Creative Net 2.0
Strengthening the creative industries
Creative and Cultural Innovation Expertise is one of the national ESF+ themes.
During the period 2021–2027, the theme will fund projects that strengthen the creative industries and the creative economy, as well as expertise within the arts and culture sectors. Funded projects should, for example, aim to increase employment or expertise in the creative industries.
The theme is coordinated by the Creative Net 2.0 project within the Finnish Arts and Culture Agency. The project continues the work of the original Creative Net project (2023–2025) under the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
So far, 22 development projects have been funded under the ESF+ theme. Creative Net 2.0 supports projects in practical work, such as sharing results and best practices. The Economic Development Centre of Southeast Finland (formerly the ELY Centre for Häme) serves as the funding authority for the theme.
