Webinar in English to inform about Taike grants and subsidies

Taike will host a webinar in English covering grant and subsidy applications on Friday 6 October from 11am to 12:30pm. The webinar will go through which grants individuals and working groups can apply for and which subsidies are intended for communities. The webinar will also offer tips on how to apply for Taike grants and subsidies.

For grants, the webinar will focus primarily on project grants that can be applied for this autumn, but information will also be provided about other grants that can be applied for next spring. The application period for project grants is 1–30 November 2023.

For subsidies, the webinar will discuss the following types of subsidies:

  • Subsidies for promoting cultural diversity and combating racism
  • Subsidies for promoting cultural wellbeing and inclusion
  • Special subsidies for specific artforms
  • Festival subsidies
  • Special subsidies for children’s culture
  • Operational subsidies for specific artforms

The application period for subsidies is 2–31 October 2023.

The event will be held online in the form of a webinar. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions using the chat function.

The event will be held in English. Webinars in Finnish will be held on 4 October from 11am to 12:30pm (subsidies for communities) and from 2pm to 3:30pm (grants for individuals and working groups).

Registration is not required. The event will be recorded and published on Taike’s YouTube channel two weeks after the event.
