For grant recipients
Decision and payment of grant
Taike informs all applicants in writing about the decision. You will receive notification by e-mail once the decision is available online. Read the decision carefully, as it contains important information about the use of the grant, grant period, and terms and restrictions.
The grant will be paid automatically to the account you specified on your application and does not have to be requested separately. For working groups, the grant will be paid to the account specified on the application by the contact person of your working group.
Artist grants are paid monthly within the first five banking days.
With the exception of artist grants, the payment date can be postponed on certain conditions by sending a request to Taike’s customer service e-mail ([email protected]). The request and justification for the postponement must be made in good time, at least four banking days before the payment date stated in the decision.
Decisions are public
Taike is a government agency, and the grant decisions we make are public. For example, the media and Employment Services are entitled to obtain information about all grant recipients. All positive grant decisions made by Taike are published on the Tutkiavustuksia.fi service. The submission of decision information to the Tutkiavustuksia.fi service cannot be refused (Act on Discretionary Government Grants 688/2001 and Government Decree 1394/2022).
In addition, Taike publishes positive grant decisions on its own website. On the application form, you can select whether you consent to having your decision published on the Taike website.
The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) and the National Audiovisual Institute (KAVI) will merge to form the Finnish Arts and Culture Agency as of 1 January 2026. Taike is the statutory government grant authority until 31 December 2025.
