Webinar: Regional grants for the arts

The Finnish Arts and Culture Agency will host a webinar on applying for the new regional grants for the arts on Wednesday 4 November starting at 1pm. The webinar will go through the principles behind the call for applications and offer tips on how to apply.

Individuals can apply for a regional grant for the arts from the Finnish Arts and Culture Agency in autumn 2026. The former project grants for the arts and regional grants are being combined into a new form of support that includes the appropriations for both forms of support. At the same time, the traditional spring call for applications for regional grants will be discontinued.

The application period for the new grant is 4 November to 2 December 2026. These grants can be applied for using the Applyforgrants.fi service under the new Finnish Arts and Culture Agency name.

This webinar will be held in Finnish online, but questions and comments can be presented also in Swedish and English. A separate webinar in English will be held on 4 November from 2pm to 3pm.

Registration is not required. The event will be recorded and published on Taike’s YouTube channel.
