The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) has awarded 13.9 million euros to subsidise the operations of art communities in 2023. Altogether 203 art communities operating throughout Finland were awarded an operational subsidy, and one in four recipients were awarded multi-year subsidies.

A total of 1,082,000 euros was awarded to 27 communities. Of them, 10 received operational subsidies and 17 received special subsidies. There were 119 applicants.

The majority of project grant and special subsidy decisions will be sent to applicants by 28 February, as originally announced. However, due to an increase in the number of applications, some decisions may be slightly delayed. All decisions will be sent by 10 March at the latest. We apologise for any delay!
