Information about general grants for the arts

These grants are intended for the long-term professional activities of art communities. These grants support the continuity and development of the operations of art communities.

These grants can be applied using applyforgrants.fi online service.

These grants may be awarded to registered communities, such as associations, cooperatives, companies, municipalities and foundations.

The social objective of general grants for the arts is to support sustainable structures in the arts sector and employ arts professionals.

One-year and three-year general grants for the arts can be applied for in 2025.

General grants may cover only a portion of the total funding of operations and not all costs. The call for applications specifies the percentage of eligible expenses that the grant awarded by Taike may be used to cover. The amount of the grant combined with other State support may not exceed the total amount of eligible expenses (100%).
