Information about project grants for culture

These grants are intended for individual projects implemented by professional communities that promote cultural and social inclusion, as well as strengthen cultural rights. These grants are also awarded to projects that aim to strengthen cooperation in the cultural sector.

These grants may be awarded to registered communities, such as associations, cooperatives, companies, municipalities and foundations. The social objective of project grants for culture is to promote equal access to the arts and culture and cultural inclusion.

These grants support projects implemented by professionals that promote cultural wellbeing and inclusion in the arts and culture. These grants can also support community development projects.

Project grants for culture combine two previous forms of support: special subsidies for cultural diversity and combating racism, and project grants for children's and youth culture.

The minimum amount of each awarded grant is 5 000 euros.

These grants may cover only a portion of the total funding of operations and not all costs. The call for applications specifies the percentage of eligible expenses that the grant awarded by Taike may be used to cover.
