The arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded state artist grants for artistic work beginning at the start of 2024. A record number of applications were received, more than 4400, representing an increase of 23 percent compared to last year.

The head office of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) in Helsinki has moved from Hakaniemi to Sörnäinen as of 17 November 2025. The new address is Kaikukatu 2 C.

The Arts Council of Uusimaa has decided to award its Regional Art Prize for 2025 to NO NIIN Magazine in recognition of its ambitious and meaningful journalism. The amount of the award is 5000 euros.

On Tuesday 7 October 2025, arts and culture professionals from the Nordic region, the Baltics and across Europe gathered at Oulu City Hall to attend the Nordic Diversity Connections in Arts and Culture Seminar.
