Taike will be holding an English-language webinar on Tuesday 14 October from 4pm to 5pm to discuss this autumn’s calls for applications for grants available to communities. The webinar will explain the changes that have been made to this year’s calls for applications and provide tips on how to apply.

The national arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded artist grants beginning at the start of 2026. The length of grant terms varies from half a year to five years. A total of 3766 applications were received, and eight percent of applicants were awarded a grant. The number of applications decreased slightly for the second year in a row.

Supplementary artist pensions are intended to supplement the artist’s pension security. A supplementary artist pension may be awarded as recognition of an outstanding contribution to the creative or performing arts.
