The arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded 304 artist grants. Most of these grants were allocated to professional artists in the fields of the visual arts, literature, music and theatre.

Taike's strategy is currently available only in Finnish.

The National Council for the Visual Arts has awarded the 2024 public display grants, a total of 960,000 euros. Public display grants were awarded to 80 artists out of 1227 who applied. Public display grants are awarded as six-month working grants, and the amount of each grant is 12,000 euros.

A total of 244,000 euros was awarded in project grants. These grants were awarded to 35 applicants out of 215 who applied.

A total of 707,000 euros was awarded in project grants. These grants were awarded to 183 applicants out of 1101 who applied.

Project grants are intended for professional artists and working groups formed by them for individual projects. Private traders may also apply. The application period for project grants is in autumn.

The national arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded state prizes for 2024 to distinguished artists and art communities. State prizes are awarded in recognition of outstanding artistic work within the past three years, a long meritorious artistic career, or a contribution to a specific artform. The combined value of the state prizes is 250,000 euros.

Library grants for writers and translators are intended for writers of fiction, writers of non-fiction and translators who are currently living or have permanently lived in Finland. The application period for library grants is in January.

The Arts Council of Varsinais-Suomi has awarded a total of 280,000 euros in working and project grants for 2023.
