Finnish Arts and Culture Agency will host a webinar on Wednesday 14 January starting at 3pm covering this year’s call for applications for public display grants and library grants for writers and translators. The webinar will go through the changes that have been made to the calls for applications and provide tips for how to apply.

Taike grants can be applied for online using the Applyforgrants.fi service under the new Finnish Arts and Culture Agency name.

A supplementary artist pension may be awarded as recognition of an outstanding contribution to the creative or performing arts. Supplementary artist pensions are not available to artists whose permanent income from pensions and other sources exceeds a certain a limit. The application period for supplementary artist pensions is in September.

The regional arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded 13 regional art prizes for 2025. Regional art prizes are awarded to artists, artist groups and artist communities who have promoted the visibility and status of art in their own region and promoted a discussion of and interest in art.
