The National Council for Audiovisual Art has awarded artist grants beginning in 2025. Artist grants were awarded to 13 artists.

This publication unveils the discussions from the working group for local architectural policy, overseen by Arts Promotion Centre Finland during 2022–2023, delving into the potentials, current landscapes, and future prospects of locality.

During the spring, it has been possible to apply for artist grants and regional grants from the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike). Grant decisions will be sent to applicants at slightly different times depending on the processing schedules of the different arts councils.

The Arts Council of Central Finland has awarded a total of 155,000 euros in regional grants for 2024. Altogether 25 artists or working groups were awarded regional grants out of 138 applicants.

The Arts Council of Pirkanmaa has awarded a total of 235,000 euros in regional grants for 2024. Altogether 37 artists or working groups were awarded out of 345 applicants.

A total of 32,000 euros was awarded in project grants. These grants were awarded to 6 applicants out of 34 who applied.

The arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded 304 artist grants. Most of these grants were allocated to professional artists in the fields of the visual arts, literature, music and theatre.

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is organising an info briefing on the priorities and future development needs of subsidies for communities. The info briefing will take place on Tuesday 14 May from 13:00 to 14:30, and it can be attended online.

Taike's strategy is currently available only in Finnish.

The National Council for the Visual Arts has awarded the 2024 public display grants, a total of 960,000 euros. Public display grants were awarded to 80 artists out of 1227 who applied. Public display grants are awarded as six-month working grants, and the amount of each grant is 12,000 euros.
