These grants are intended for cultural magazines published in Finland and online publications in any language that maintain a diverse social discussion about culture, science, the arts or different worldviews. These grants can also be awarded to promoters of the circulation of cultural magazines.

About us

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is an expert and service agency for promoting the arts under the Ministry of Education and Culture. Taike’s mission is to promote the arts on both the national and international levels, as well as to promote aspects of culture that are not covered by any other official body.

In cooperation with Globe Art Point, Taike is hosting an online info briefing covering Taike grants for professional artists. The webinar will cover all forms of support awarded by Taike, but it will focus mainly on this autumn’s call for applications for project grants for artists and working groups.

Calls for applications to open for government grants for communities

Calls for applications for discretionary government grants awarded by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) and intended for communities open on Tuesday 1 October 2024. Some calls for applications have been transferred to the new Applyforgrants.fi service. In addition, changes have been made to the calls for applications due to budget cuts to discretionary government grants.

Eloon! tour: Lapland’s creative networks in the innovation work of companies

The Eloon! tour organised by Creative Net and Suomen Yrittäjät – the Federation of Finnish Enterprises arrives in Rovaniemi on 8 October. The theme of the event is “Lapland’s creative networks in the innovation work of companies”. On the tour, professionals from the business and creative sectors get the chance to collaborate and come up with creative solutions to the challenges of regional vitality.
