Poet Tuomas Taskinen likes to challenge himself with his art. The support of a library grant helped him complete his second book of poetry “Ohipuhuttu valitus” (Overlooked Complaint).

Visual artist Virve Lilja reflects her personal experiences and life changes in her works. Receiving a display grant for the visual arts emboldened her to create dark-toned works.

The works of art of the dialogue cards on cultural diversity and sustainable development developed by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) and The Ministry of Education and Culture were selected from 140 proposals.
