Workshop on multilingualism and art 20.2.2013

Kone Foundation organizes together with the Arts Promotion Centre, a project workshop on multilingualism and art. Registration for the workshop on 20th February ends on 13th February. The workshop is related to a grant call on the same theme, which will be organized in February-March. You are warmly welcome!

The first workshop took place on Thursday, February 7th at Kone Foundation in Helsinki. Because of the great interest towards the theme and the workshop, we'll organize another workshop on 20th February at 13–16 pm, at the new premises of Arts Promotion Centre, Kotus hall, Vuorikatu 24, Helsinki.

There will be discussion on the upcoming grant application call and project ideas will be shared and developed in small groups. The event will also be a great possibility to network.

Funding will be available for

     – multilingual art projects, regardless of art field

     – art projects which deal with the theme of multilingualism

     – projects which improve the linguistic accessibility of art

     – projects in which researchers and artists collaborate on issues related to multilingualism.
