Adult Education Centres as mediators of cultural wellbeing

This project develops Adult Education Centre-based mediation models to promote cultural wellbeing activities. The project, which is being developed in South Ostrobothnia, aims to create models that can be applied nationwide. These models would support the accessibility of the arts and culture, especially in collaboration with social and health services (the SOTE sector).

Creative Net coordination project

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is coordinating projects in the creative and culture sectors within the scope of the Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021−2027 programme. The Creative Net project supports practical projects under the Creative and Cultural Innovation Expertise theme by sharing the good practices of their operating models, services and products, as well as embedding the results.

First ESF+ funding round concluded in 2023 – what next?

Higher education institutions were strongly represented in the first call for applications for projects within the Creative and Cultural Innovation Expertise ESF+ theme, and many smaller actors were left without funding. Smaller actors should definitely apply for funding in the next round, but at the same time it is important to invest even more in collaboration, writes Sofia-Charlotta Kakko.

Taike adopts principles of EU state aid regulations: de minimis aid and the General Block Exemption Regulation

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) has adopted the decisions regarding the de minimis principle and the General Block Exemption Regulation, which form part of the European Union's state aid regulations, in subsidies for communities that can be applied for in autumn 2024.
