Application period for Taike grants and subsidies begins on 1 October

Changes have been made to this autumn’s calls for applications. For the first time, the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) will award three-year operational subsidies for the performing arts. The application period for special subsidies for children’s culture has been moved from spring to autumn. Take has also made changes to how some artforms are categorised.

Theme year aims to promote culture for children and young people

Special events are planned throughout Finland in 2016 under the theme #artfortheyoung (#taideonlasten). The Arts Promotion Centre Finland will be partnered by children’s cultural centres, and Tuomas Kurttila, Ombudsman for Children, will serve as the patron of the theme year.

Summer bulletin for Taike customers

Customer Service will be open for the last day before the summer break on Thursday 8 July 2021. The fifth round of COVID-19 support for the arts and culture sector is open for applications from 16 to 30 June 2021. Decisions regarding both the fifth round of COVID-19 support and artist grants will be announced by the end of August.

Fifth call for applications for COVID-19 support for the arts and culture sectors 16-30 June | News

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is distributing approximately 55 million euros in COVID-19 support to artists and professionals in the culture and creative sectors, as well as private traders and sole proprietors in the arts and culture sectors. The application period begins on 16 June and ends on 30 June at 4:00pm.
