State artist grants awarded to 309 professionals

The arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded state artist grants for artistic work beginning at the start of 2023. The number of applications increased by 26 percent compared to two years ago.

Taike distributes almost 25 million euros in fourth round of COVID-19 support

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) has awarded grants and subsidies to support the work of 5346 artists and 569 private traders in the fourth round of COVID-19 support. The application period for these grants and subsidies was 29 March to 15 April 2021.

State artist grants awarded to 311 artists

The arts councils of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) have awarded state artist grants starting in 2022 to 311 professional artists, 12 of whom have been awarded five-year Artist Professor grants.

Information about supplementary artist pensions

A supplementary artist pension may be awarded as recognition of an outstanding contribution to the creative or performing arts. Supplementary artist pensions are not available to artists whose permanent income from pensions and other sources exceeds a certain a limit. The application period for supplementary artist pensions is in September.
