On Thursday 14 November at 1pm, Taike is organising a one-hour webinar for professional artists about this autumn’s call for applications for project grants. The online webinar will discuss basic principles and provide tips on how to apply.

Taike awards working grants and project grants to professional artists. Working grants are intended to cover working and living costs. Project grants are intended for individual projects.

The second webinar will discuss the following types of grants that are part of the new application system for discretionary government grants: project grants for "Percent for Art" projects, general grants for festivals, general grants for cultural magazines and online publications and project grants for children's and youth culture.

The Eloon! tour organised by Creative Net and Suomen Yrittäjät – the Federation of Finnish Enterprises arrives in Rauma on 28–29 October. The theme of the event is “Year-round collaboration in Rauma”. On the tour, professionals from the business and creative sectors get the chance to collaborate and come up with creative solutions to the challenges of regional vitality.

Project grants are intended for professional artists and working groups formed by them for individual projects. Private traders may also apply.
