Info briefings for communities 1

This October, Taike is organising one-hour info briefings for communities applying for grants and subsidies. There will be two of these online webinars for the different forms of support. The first webinar will discuss the following types of subsidies: subsidies for promoting cultural diversity and combating racism, subsidies for promoting inclusion and cultural wellbeing, special subsidies for communities, and operational subsidies for specific artforms.

Eloon! tour: Year-round collaboration in Rauma

The Eloon! tour organised by Creative Net and Suomen Yrittäjät – the Federation of Finnish Enterprises arrives in Rauma on 28–29 October. The theme of the event is “Year-round collaboration in Rauma”. On the tour, professionals from the business and creative sectors get the chance to collaborate and come up with creative solutions to the challenges of regional vitality.

Public display grants are intended for professional artists in the fields of the visual arts, whose works may be displayed publicly. The application period for public display grants is in January.

Taike will hold an online info briefing on applying for public display grants on Thursday 9 January 2025, 12noon–1pm. Public display grants are intended for visual artists to support their creative artistic work in 2025.

Information about operational subsidies for specific artforms

These subsidies are intended for communities in specific fields of the arts, such as associations, cooperatives and companies, to support their ongoing operations. The application period for operational subsidies is in autumn. Operational subsidies may be awarded to support the operations of a community or a specific part of their operations.
