The Central Arts Council of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland has appointed ten national arts councils and one subcommittee for a two-year term (2013-2014). According to new legislation in Finland, the Central Arts Council makes decisions regarding the number of national arts councils, their names and their roles. It also appoints the chairpersons and other members of the arts councils. If required, the Central Arts Council may also appoint subcommittees.

The aim of ARSPRO Artists Meet Producers Event is to offer a possibility for creative professional contacts between artists, art educators and cultural producers.
