The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is distributing approximately 34 million euros in the latest round of COVID-19 grants and subsidies to professional artists, private traders and sole proprietors in the art, culture and creative sectors. Taike’s expert services support organisations in promoting art and culture. We help build strategies, networks and operating models. In addition, we provide support in such areas as identifying funding opportunities and initiating projects.

The call for projects within the Creative and Cultural Innovation Expertise ESF+ theme is open from 15 March to 15 May 2023. Actors of all sizes within the arts, culture and creative sectors are encouraged to apply for funding. Sparring for developing project ideas and network is being organised for those interested in applying.

Minister of Science and Culture Petri Honkonen has appointed CEO, Master of Music Kaisa Rönkkö as Director of the Arts Promotion Centre (Taike) for the term 1 August 2023–31 July 2028.

Check the call for applications to see what attachments you should include with your application. For positive subsidy decisions, the attachments required for clarifications are specified in the decision letter, which should be given to the person responsible for the community’s accounting.

The majority of operational subsidy decisions will be sent to applicants by 31 January, as originally announced. However, some will be sent only by 5 February. You will be notified by e-mail when the decision is available on our e-services. We apologise for any delay.
