Creative Net sparring on 28 April and 3 May – Support for ESF+ applications

The Creative Net is providing sparring for finalising project applications within the Creative and Cultural Innovation Expertise ESF+ theme. These sparring sessions are aimed at those who are already quite far along in the application process and especially those who are making an ESF+ application for the first time.

Opening of Taiteen talo and Vallaton KUMOUS

The opening of Taiteen talo will be celebrated on Saturday 14 May. The event is free to all city residents. At the opening, you will be able to see and experience the contribution of the Turku cultural field extensively, and a programme for all ages is promised. As part of the opening programme, the Vallaton Kumous art festival of the Taidekahvit co-operation network will be seen.

Adult Education Centres as mediators of cultural wellbeing

This project develops Adult Education Centre-based mediation models to promote cultural wellbeing activities. The project, which is being developed in South Ostrobothnia, aims to create models that can be applied nationwide. These models would support the accessibility of the arts and culture, especially in collaboration with social and health services (the SOTE sector).

Echoes – exposure and synchrony at the Oodi library

Kaikuja – Ekon – Echoes is an artistic project crystallising the multi-year collaboration between Helsinki’s Central Library Oodi and The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike). Echoes finds its peak in the exhibition Faith is a Blindspot of Permanence by visual artist Niko Luoma, to be presented 6–30 October in Oodi’s Kuutio space. Summing up the whole project, the publication Kaikuja – Ekon – Echoes will be released at the closing event at Oodi on 27 October. The publication serves to showcase the wide variety of makers and their works who have contributed to the multi-year project.

Creative Net coordination project

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is coordinating projects in the creative and culture sectors within the scope of the Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021−2027 programme. The Creative Net project supports practical projects under the Creative and Cultural Innovation Expertise theme by sharing the good practices of their operating models, services and products, as well as embedding the results.
