The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is an expert and service agency for promoting the arts under the Ministry of Education and Culture. Taike’s mission is to promote the arts on both the national and international levels, as well as to promote aspects of culture that are not covered by any other official body.

The data contained in the customer register is used in the preparation and decision-making of cases registered in the Salama case management system. The data is also used for statistical and research purposes.

Regional grants are intended for professional artists and art journalists, and/or working groups formed by them. The application period for regional grants is in spring.
