Library grants for writers and translators and public display grants for visual artists for 2024 could be applied for from the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) until 31 January. Altogether 1270 applications for library grants and 1241 applications for public display grants are now being processed. The number of applications was at the same level as last year.

Regional grants are intended for professional artists and art journalists, as well as working groups formed by them. You can apply for a grant to cover work and expenses using the same application.

A total of 56,000 euros was awarded to four communities. There were 12 applicants.

A total of 10,000 euros was awarded to one community. There were six applicants.

Taike will host a webinar on Thursday 7 March starting at 2pm covering this spring’s calls for applications for regional grants and artist grants. The webinar will go through the changes that have been made to this year’s calls for applications and provide tips for how to apply.

Taike is an organising an info briefing on the use and clarification of operational subsidies on Wednesday 13 March, 1pm–2pm. The info briefing will discuss the terms and restrictions of using state subsidies, as well as how to provide clarification of the use of the subsidy.

A total of 731,000 euros was awarded in project grants. These grants were awarded to 107 applicants out of 805 who applied.

A total of 170,000 euros was awarded in project grants. These grants were awarded to 41 applicants out of 269 who applied.

A total of 80,000 euros was awarded in project grants. These grants were awarded to 15 applicants out of 75 who applied.

A total of 100,000 euros was awarded in project grants. These grants were awarded to 15 applicants out of 65 who applied.
