Architecture

Finnish architecture is internationally acclaimed and of the highest quality.

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland and the National Council for Architecture and Design support architecture and landscape architecture by awarding grants and special subsidies to individual architects, working groups and communities.

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland also supports projects that apply the principle “1% of construction costs for art” and offers expert services for public art.

The Ministry of Education and Culture supports national communities in the field of architecture by awarding operating subsidies.
