Taike’s expert networks support organisations in promoting art and culture. We help build strategies, networks and operating models. In addition, we provide support in such areas as identifying funding opportunities and initiating projects.

Taike grants are intended for professional activities. Grants are awarded either as general grants for ongoing operations or as project grants for specific projects.

A supplementary artist pension may be awarded as recognition of an outstanding contribution to the creative or performing arts. Supplementary artist pensions are not available to artists whose permanent income from pensions and other sources exceeds a certain a limit. The application period for supplementary artist pensions is in September.

Taike's Municipal Cooperation team assists municipalities in fulfilling their legal obligations for promoting the arts and culture.

Check the call for applications to see what attachments you should include with your application. For positive grant decisions, the attachments required for the final report are specified in the grant decision, which should be given to the person responsible for the community’s accounting.

We fund the arts and culture through grants and subsidies. Grants are awarded to individuals and working groups, while subsidies are awarded to communities.

The Cultural diversity team aims to promote the understanding of diversity in the arts, intercultural dialogue, the mobility of artists and international networks.

Taike will be holding two webinars this October to discuss this autumn’s calls for applications for grants available to communities. The first webinar will cover the following forms of support: general grants for festivals, general grants for cultural magazines and online publications, project grants for "Percent for Art" projects, internationalisation grants for the arts, and general grants for the arts. A second webinar on project grants for culture and general grants for culture will be held on 9 October from 3pm to 4pm.

Congratulations on receiving a grant! The grant will be paid automatically to the account of your community and does not have to be requested separately.

Taike receives around 1100 applications for grants each year. You will receive notification by e-mail once the decision is available on the Applyforgrants.fi service.
