These subsidies support cultural activities in sparsely populated rural areas. They were intended for registered communities, such as municipalities, foundations, associations, cooperatives and companies.

As a grant recipient, you are self-employed in terms of the Unemployment Security Act. Self-employment is covered in Chapter 2 of the Unemployment Security Act.

The Arts and Culture Barometer
The Arts and Culture Barometer is an annual survey of attitudes and views in the form of a survey. The barometer aims to gather the opinions of those working in the fields of the arts and to invite discussion about topical issues regarding art policies.

The grant must be used in accordance with the work plan, but the project does not have to be fully completed during the grant period. Clarification of how the grant was used must be submitted.
