Grants for artists

Taike awards approximately 20 million euros in grants each year. State artist grants account for approximately 11 million euros. 

Working grants are personal and intended to cover working and living costs. Working grants include artist grants, regional working grants, public display grants, and library grants for writers and translators. The application period for these grants is in spring. 

Project grants are awarded to professional artists and working groups for individual projects. Project grants can be applied for in spring during the call for applications for regional grants and in autumn during the call for applications for project grants.
