Library grants are intended for creative work of writers and translators.

Library subsidies
Library subsidies are intended for elderly authors and translators who are in difficult financial circumstances, and for authors and translators who are facing financial difficulties due to illness or disability to work.

Public Display Grants
Public display grants are intended for professional artists in the fields of the visual arts, photography, illustrations and comics, media art and design whose works may be displayed publicly. These grants are available to artists who reside or have resided permanently in Finland.

Regional grants
Regional grants are intended for professional artists in the region and/or working groups formed by them. Private persons carrying on trade (private traders) may also apply project grant.
Application period: 15.2.–15.3.2023

Artist grants
Artist grants are intended to support the work of professional artists in different fields of the arts. The grants are awarded for a period of between six months and five years.
Application period: 1.3.–31.3.2023

Supplementary artist pension
Supplementary artist pension may be awarded in recognition of meritorious activity as a creative or performing artist.
Application period: 1.9.–30.9.2022

Project Grants
Project grants are intended to support the implementation of individual projects by professional artists in different fields of the arts.
Application period: 23.9.–8.11.2022
Decision date: Most applicants will receive notification of the decision by 28 February 2023. All decisions will be sent by 10 March 2023 at the latest.

Special subsidies for cultural activities in sparsely populated rural areas
These subsidies support cultural activities in sparsely populated rural areas. They are intended for registered communities, such as municipalities, foundations, associations, cooperatives and companies.

Special subsidies for "Percent of the construction costs to art" projects
The special subsidies are intended for communities that acquire works of artists for their construction projects.
